BEIJING

It's great to start to settle into a routine. Getting some work done which is always good for one's mental health. Still we are taking in some of the sights. Went to a preview of an antiques auction full of museum quality treasures. But mostly it is staying around the village working, eating and relaxing. Gordon told us that Nali Nali (where where), the name of the residency, is an expression used to deflect compliments. So if someone were to remark how fabulous you were (and you are), you might say this to mean, "no, no, surely you exaggerate". The residency was named in response to a number of institutions who's name sings their own praises in CAPS.   Pictured above is a humble X man in Beijing
