Paris France

What can one say about Paris.  Love the French, love the fries.
Here is our PG 13 tour of the Louvre among other things from our whirlwind 2 day richochet off the city of Light.

                                                         Me reflected in the Louvre

                                                                         No Flash
                                                                       Shut up
                                                                      Paws off
                                                          Beware of Pickmanpurses

                                                         Athena is a  chocolaty mess
J weeping with laughter at the choclately wit of Andrews
An earlier incarnation of Jared Raab?
"how do i get rid of this choclately mess?"
Detail from the death of Titian
Likewise, I am sure (this is an AMAZING painting by ______, the pall bearers are oblivious to the revered painter they are carrying (not seen in these details) because all around them are victims of the plague....)
Storyboard for 300 (the pants optional version)

From an special exhibition of drawings by Delaroche. Unbelievable! Some preparatory sketches as well from "The execution of Lady Jane Gray"

The extreme right demonstrate in front of the statue of Joan of Arc. Former anti-imperialist now poster girl for out of control nationalists. The para military police had rue de Rivoli blocked off from Hotel de Ville to Place de la Concorde. They were expecting a fight. We saw someone wearing a 'Blut ehre Vaterland' t-shirt. Unbelievable! We zipped away quickly on our Lib-velo bikes
Lui et lui (on the coulee verte)
                                                                   J and pal Paul Collins
Below: Michalangelo's slaves as a decorative freize around the top of a cop shop. Unbelievable!
Post modernism run amok
That evening we went to hear an incredible string quartet at Saint Chapelle
