St Petersburg post script

                                                               Never a dull moment
The four horses (and their lads) of the Nevsky Prospekt bridge....
...erupt in a clothing optional fury....
...against St. Peterburg's new anti-homo law
Restoration workers at the Peter 'n Paul Fortress Cathedral join the protest...
...embedding secret queer slogans in the gold leaf of the nave...
In a show of circular solidarity, the St. Petersburg jogging club
run manically up and down the stairs of St. Isaacs until they are arrested
The prison cot of Leon Trotsky (from his 1906 sojourn in the Fortress Bastion) stages a spirited solidarity lie-in against this outrageous attack on the LGBT folks of St. Pete
Back at the bridge, the near-naked horses and their lads adopt the famous Bastion prisoner signalling system (this tapping alphabet) of to drum out a percussive hoof'n'thigh poem of anti-Putin sentiments
(I had the vapours today so for the most part this post has a guest photographer. The polyvalent J)
